Tommy Lam will be one of the speakers at the VII International Wine Forum. Chinese expert thinks about Argentina's wine industry.
In the VII International Wine Forum, to be held in Mendoza on 7 and 8 September, Tommy Lam will discuss market trends wine China and South Korea, plus opportunities for Argentine wine in those markets. The expert, who was born in China, has a Wine MBA awarded by France in Bordeaux "Bordeaux Ecole de Management", an MBA from the University of Dubuque, USA and several diplomas in specialist wine and sommelier (USA).
- What is your impression of Argentinian wines?
They have a good price / quality and a different style. Argentina is already famous for its red wines: Malbec and some great Cabernets Sauvignon, among others. I think we should push the Torrontés, create a good white wine can extend its reach in Asia, along the vertical development will improve and maintain quality.
- What is your opinion on the development of Argentine Malbec in the Asian market?
